Award Winning Journalist, Georgie Anne Geyer is Featured in a New Exhibit
A Northwestern Library exhibit will display materials from Georgie Anne Geyer's upcoming book - Predicting the Unthinkable, Anticipating the Impossible (Transaction Publishers, 2011).
Mar 31, 2011 “ The Northwestern University Library will present an array of journalistic identities at the "Who Is The Journalist? The Past, Present and Future of News" exhibit from April 7th through September 2nd.
The exhibit will feature award winning journalist and author of Predicting the Unthinkable, Anticipating the Impossible, Georgie Anne Geyer. Geyer has been a Chicago reporter, a foreign correspondent covering virtually every part of the world, an author and biographer, and a syndicated columnist for half a century. Her ability to predict world events based on her research is remarkable. Her upcoming book, Predicting the Unthinkable, Anticipating the Impossible presents a selection of her work from throughout her career.
"(She is) one of the giants: an award-winning correspondent, columnist, and author for half a century," says James F. Hoge, Jr., Chairman of Human Rights Watch, past chairman of the International Center for Journalists, and Editor Emeritus of Foreign Affairs. "Her columns have been appearing twice weekly in more than 120 newspapers here and abroad.
