GoComics Introduces Four New WebComics in February

More than 300 comic strips, panels and editorial cartoons are now available for daily and weekly reading online and via the free GoComics mobile app.

Brian McFadden Editorial Cartoons
From his studio in southeastern New England, Brian McFadden addresses news and pop culture with his irreverent political cartoons. With a liberal slant, McFadden’s cartoons tackle current issues such as climate change, gun laws and other trending topics.
 
McFadden grew up in Brockton, Mass., and studied mechanical engineering at Johns Hopkins University, during which time he began publishing cartoons online. After developing a weekly comic strip called Big Fat Whale, his work ran in alternative newspapers across the United States. Another comic of McFadden’s, The Strip, runs in The New York Times Sunday Review. McFadden now resides in Quincy, Mass., where he dabbles in comedy writing and performing sketch comedy in his free time.

Doodle Town by Melissa Lomax
Doodle Town chronicles the longtime relationship of creator Melissa Lomax and her significant other, disguised under the characters Patch the Pups and Kitty Lo-Lo. Full of adventures ranging from tough times to happy moments, the personal stories that appear in this comic strip make readers chuckle, say “Awww!” and remind them to find the magic in everyday moments.
 
Lomax is a freelance illustrator and a full-time greeting card artist, with many of her creations appearing at large retail outlets like Target. A proud member of the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society, Lomax enjoys participating in comic conventions and gallery art shows. While doodling is her favorite thing to do, Lomax also appreciates random acts of kindness, long adventurous walks, interior design and old, nostalgic movies.

Eleri Mai Harris Cartoons by Eleri Harris
Eleri Mai Harris Cartoons feature nonfiction comics for those interested in politics and history. Readers will find illustrations about political parties, historical elections and more in these educational and entertaining cartoons.
 
Hailing from Hobart, Tasmania, creator Eleri Mai Harris is an Australian-American journalist and cartoonist. An avid roller derby and indie rock enthusiast, Harris currently lives in Vermont, where she is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree at the Center for Cartoon Studies.

Leigh Luna Comics by Leigh Luna
Leigh Luna Comics represent a series of storylines. The first comic of the series, Clementine Fox, is a children's comic about three woodland creatures, Clementine Fox, Penelope Rabbit and Nubbins the Squirrel, who decide they want to become professional adventurers. Aside from being aimed at a younger audience, Clementine Fox also exists to remind readers to revisit childhood occasionally.
 
Cartoonist Leigh Luna’s work often reflects the time she spent in New Mexico and Colorado during her childhood. Her interests include yoga, coffee and bookbinding. Luna attends the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and resides in Minneapolis, though she would much prefer to live in a treehouse.
